The VA results were out last year on July 6th so they should be out by then this year. They all come out at the same time in the morning. Also Lynchburg is another VA test site.
Good luck.
Reading some of the posts above, it looks like VA was much quicker to release results this year.

Buick,

Results came out on Friday. However, there are a good number of us (as always) hoping that there's some glitch in the system and that's why our names aren't on the website.

There are 5 sites in Virginia to take the PE (per the EES website):

Richmond

Fairfax

Chesapeake

Lynchburg

Wytheville

Hokie,

I am really hoping for the glitch in my favor as well. It just doesnt seem that there would be so few that passed. Out of seven people that I know that took it between other that took it as well, none of us were on the list. Just doesnt seem like the numbers add up. This is killing me!

From a quick look at the previous posts, it seems like many who found out they passed had taken the test before... Maybe that has something to do with it? I passed on the first attempt, but technically it was my second time...I was registered to take the exam 2 years ago but didn't sit for it. I agree that the pass rate seems low.

I'm pretty sure the only hope there is, is the possibility that the DPOR has lost or never received that Regulations Quiz they give you. That is the only glimmer of hope anyone really has at this point.

Sadly I verified 2 weeks ago that they had it and had logged it into the system. My only other hope is that the apostrophe in my name is screwing them up?

Hey All, Haven't been watching the boards too closely this go around and didn't realize results were out already. Was not expecting them for another week or so. On a whim I went on to DPORs website this morning and was floored to see my name pop up. This was my second time taking it and I took the Civil Exam with Transportation Depth. Congrats to the others who have passed, and Good Luck to those who didn't. Been there done that, you'll get 'em next time!

Congratulations!

Finally, the wait is over. I got my Diagnostic report in the mail. Examination Score was 69 whereas minimum score necessary to pass was 70.

Hey I lost my password and couldn't remember it ( I am ABH). I passed the PE , first time. I think I was lucky because I felt ok about 33 questions in the morning and guessed about 15 in the afternoon so a total of 22 guesses( some of them are good guesses but the majority were blind guesses, believe me). Congrats to whomever passed this time, if you didn't pass, don't worry, you will pass if you prepare yourself to answer 35 correctly in the morning and 20 in the afternoon ( don't try to answer all of them, only if you have time but make sure you answer 35 in the morning correctly and 20 in the afternoon , don't overkill it, take your time ) that was my strategy because I didn't have time to prepare, my objective was 35+21, I probably did a 35+25 but I really feel that with even a 30+20 correct you will get the other 6 out of 30 by luck ( before you start guessing the problems you didn't have time working out, look at your answer sheet ( if you see that you answered many As, Bs, Ds and not many Cs, your best bet is a C for all the guessed answers. If you see that a column of answers has a lot of Bs then maybe you could assume B to complete the answers within that column ). Get your 50 problems correct then work hard to get the 5 or 6 out of 30. And don't be hard on yourself, if you are not a PE now you will be soon. Time flies and all these days we spent talking about the PE exam will be history.

Again Congrats to anyone who passed this time and best luck to the others.

Where are you guys located? I didnt get mine yet!!

Hi Everyone....

I've taken the exam FOUR times and I finally PASSED the April 2010 exam. :party-smiley-048:

I just joined this site today, because I wanted to provide some words of encouragement to those of you that didn't pass. I remember feeling horrible that I failed. I could have easily given up after three times, but I wanted to give it another shot. The difference between success and failure is one more try. I strongly encourage you to take the exam again.

Congrats to all that passed.

I am surprised they are out this early. has anyone called DPOR to see if they are all out? I have a coworker that has not received his letter yet.

Congratulations to the ones that passed. For the ones that did not pass I know how you feel as I went through this twice before I passed and it is worth the effort.
