This is what I'm going to be dealing with.  Oh yeah, I'm deploying.

Reading the article, I could engineer a project for that dam from here, and complete it in this reply.   

Step 1.  Slowly draw down the lake until it is empty.

Step 2.  Blow the dam up.

Step 3.  Project is complete due to poor location for a dam.

That may ultimately be basically the answer.  The problem of course, is that I suspect it provides electricity to all of Northern Iraq.

I don't know anything about who is paying for the dam grouting work.  I would imagine its the US, but I don't know.  We are providing oversight for a foriegn contractor.  We are not providing security.  Security is being provided by the Italian Army.

Where do I send my bill for consulting?  

As for the electricity, lets either build the Liquid Thorium reactor where I can supply to thorium, or buy them all a generator which they can fuel from the local oil/gas supply.
