I didn’t have to RSO at junior’s biathlon tonight so I got to log some kilometers on skis. Just under 5K with some intervals at the end.

hope the florida garage gym is air conditioned ;)

Does your boyfriend know how to lift? dont get hurt!

Our gym is doing a 100K meter rowing challenege - from Thanksgiving to New Years - Im right at 10K meters in and thought this would be fun but everyone is trying to get "meters" in before class, during class, after class, there just really isnt time to do this and it is making getting in and out of class a **** show IMO -  Saurday I stayed after and did a 5K since no one showed up for the later class, but since then its been chaotic!

We have open gym sundays and even that had a line basically, I think I am going to shoot for 50K just to get some cardio stuff in but I cant stress over trying to sneak by the gym and pull an extra 3000 meters here and there :(

yes AC install is next on the list!

and i believe he knows how. he has many times before, as have i. I don't intend to be a power lifter tho!

@csb - Did your doc give you any props for being in shape and battling the rona?  I could see a morning chalk up article in your future.

Dude, my doctor wanted nothing to do with me once I got the 'VID. I've started preaching the gospel of Get Your Ass in Shape to everyone though. I don't think I ever felt as bad as my husband did and I think my general recovery has been better. It also meant I could say to my lungs, "Stop being little *******. We just did Fran a few weeks ago."

My back was feeling good enough to go back to the gym on Friday morning, first time since August.  I've had a habit of wasting my days off lately, and got a bug in my ass to not do the same.  So after a gym session of core stabilization warmups, ab rollouts, 5x5 good mornings, and log clean and press for 5 reps superset with sandbag good mornings, I thought I better make the most of the day and go for a 5 mile MTB ride.  On a mostly empty stomach.

I did not have a good time.  I am still not having a good time.

Your body needs fuel, yo.

Has anyone else been following the Make WODs Great Again vs. Jillian Michaels drama? Jillian said no one should try Crossfit because it's too dangerous. MWGA has been posting her workout moves and renaming them. My favorite so far has been the Clam Slam, which is really a Jefferson Squat, but still hilarious.

So what happened with your back?  I just thought your part of town hadnt opened up gyms again?

Hope its feeling better!

I went in and did a 10K row sunday (ended up doing a 13K), which wasnt bad, but we had a lot of pull ups this week but the rower totally ripped my callus off my hands - hurts like **** to be honest, Ive got  to find a better way to manage them
