im sure this thread is dead, but ill ask anyways... Any idea when the license website will get updated with the results?

You get a license registration certificate in the mail. Not the fancy one for framing (that one takes a long time), but the small one with your number and expiration date that looks exactly like my barber's. You get one of those every two years, when you pay your fees, and I think I got the first one just a week or two after I sent in my check.

is it advised against looking online at your "status" to try and find out before your letter arrives? i am not 100% sure what it would say, so i am afraid i will get a false sense of failing or passing wheenver it changes

You're status online won't change until you get your results and send in your check. No point in looking, you'll just have to wait for the letter.

Got word today that although Tennessee went to the NCEES website login for registration, etc., the results will still be mailed out as in years pasts. Looks like we'll be waiting several more weeks for our letters.

what a buzzkill...my buddy here at work took the test in michigan found out today via ncees that he failed...i have been checknig hourly..now it looks like it may be another month for us

If you go by the average of the excel sheet in the sticky, TN is averaging 69 days. So somewhere around the 24th this month would seem right. Hopefully they'll be early this year.

If you look at it another way, wait time behind the first states getting results.

PE results are in for MI, IN, VT, WA, FL. From the spreadsheet they are normally early states. Tennessee is usually about 2-3 weeks behind these states. So it looks like possibly between June 15th - 22nd

SC is usually one of the first and so far nobody has said anything about results here....I wonder why this time things are different. Have some states done something different?

There might not be anyone on here from that state or maybe those who are didn't pass and are in no mood to post. Not seeing responses doesn't necessarily mean results are not out.

Don't you wish posting results was like it was back in high school were coach taped a cut list up on the wall and everyone squeezed in to see if they made it?

Those were the good ol days...

I wasn't anticipating results until maybe next week but now that some states have them I can't check my email enough

Not to be bursting bubbles here but I don't think you will be seeing TN PE results until 7/2 that will be exactly 11 weeks from the time the test was taken. The past 2 exams have taken 11 weeks to ge the results. I passed the April 09 exam and got my results on 7/3. If you are lucky you might see them as early as June 25th, but I doubt it.

It gets really old waiting in Tennessee -Even backwards Miss gets the results faster----

Before I get a bunch of hate mail from Mississippi people--- I graduated from Miss State and spent 10 years in Columbus, Ms--so I earned the right to my opinion

:waitwall: I agree with the 11 week wait in Tennessee. You would think with the high fees we have to pay to take the test they could get the letters out quicker or at least email the results. Welcome to the 21st century. I am sure we will hear that this time it may take longer since most of Nashville was underwater from flooding. I heard several government offices had to relocate. :screwloose:

Including the AE board office. All things considered, given the extent of the flood, if they show up a week or two after everyone else's I'd be pretty happy. And the test-taking and registration fees in TN aren't that bad, its the annual priviledge tax that sucks. Just wait till you start getting a bill for that.

I work in downtown Nashville very near the Dept of Insurance and Commerce in the Davy Crockett Building, they weren't closed for flooding. All state offices except those in the Andrew Jackson and Andrew Johnson buildings didn't close during the flood. That should not be a problem.

That's not what Wanda told me when I called a few weeks back with another question, but maybe you're right.
