Pbr isn’t so great, but if you are going for  cheap lagers it is better than others.   Going for a treehouse Julius IPA tonight.

Nice!  I haven't been out there since 2002.... I used to go all the time in the late 90s. Bintangs were one of the most expensive things at restaurants. The entire meal might cost the equivalent of $1.50 or so, but each bintang was a couple of bucks, if I recall correctly (that and having to carry giant wads of the local cash for everything because the money was basically worthless)

We got Bintangs for about 25k IDR on average, which works out to be about $1.75, so I'm guessing costs have gone down. I think they're also owned by whomever owns Heineken now.

I prob spend too much $ on beer.  I realized the other day that I could sell half my beer on one of those craft beer sites where a four pack of “rare beer” goes for $50+ and buy a fancy new beer fridge.  I’d rather share them.
