Wait to add P.E. after name?

To each their own I suppose.  I feel it is a prestigious milestone in an engineer's career so I have no issues with displaying it on LinkedIn in addition to other similar mediums.

I'm also curious as to what part of being a professional engineer you find to be "tacky".  Would it also be tacky for a doctor not to display his/her respective title?

There us absolutely nothing 'tacky' about being proud of something that you spent so much time earning. In fact, if you are using LinkedIn for what it is intended to be used for, it would be tacky to hide your credentials.

 
I added it on LinkedIn.  Hell it is a professional social networking site, can't see why you wouldn't.

It is anti tacky.  Can't imagine why anyone wouldn't want to show it off unless they were changing fields. :blink:

 
I say add the PE after name as soon as you receive the official "Pass".  It's something to be proud of.
