My wife just called me from home. I received the result. I was too scared to open it by myself, so I let her open the envelope......

I passed !!!!

Can't belive it. I did not expect that I get the result today...since I live in San Diego....

Looks like the license lookup database still isn't updated. Last issued license number is still 70563.

Not quite sure, but it seems that you have to take another take-home exam on Professional Engineers Act and the Board Rules in order to receive your license number. So you may not use the license look up to find your result.

Well the fact is that the database has not yet been updated. My name and number is not there even though I have received the "pass" letter since yesterday 1/31/2007 and the letter is dated 1/29/2007. It has nothing to do with the "take home exam"!

anyone in southern cali received their results already??i'm out of state. hoping to receive it today but i doubt it.

I live in Southern California and received my results today (Thursday).

For those like me who are regularly checking this board for info about when your results might arrive . . . I live in Santa Monica . . . I passed the Electrical PE . . . I am not yet listed on the "LICENSE LOOKUP" as of 11pm tonight.

I'm going to hold out for the letter, before looking in the database. There has been a lot of confusion with other states not updating the entire database at one time.....thus causing panic attacks for people who passed but get put in at a later date. So, until 3 pm this afternoon, I just going to have to arty-smiley-048: :mail-296:

I think you might be correct, the number went from 70563 to 70625 only 62 new names with over 1,100. people passing +/-

I dont think they put numbers in out of sequence anymore, i.e. CE and ME getting the same number, . like they used to..

I believe that cancelled numbers and those for deceased individuals are eventually reassigned. My number is in the 30,000's
