ARJ --Well, just got my letter and I failed. I only had the special surveying exam left to pass and I didn't make it. The cut score was 171. I scored 156. Man that sucks!!! I can't tell you how disappointed I am.
ARJ - that's all I had left too. I think the key is being super quick with the exam...Find a way to increase your speed...and use resources with tougher problems. The first time I took it, I only used Cuomo and 120 Survey Problems and I thought the exam was easy but missed by 2 points. This time I used a bunch of the references they recommend for the LSIT and I guess it worked!ARJ --
Sorry to hear that it didn't work out this time. It sounds like you have really good perspective though :waitwall: Take some time to mope about it and then kick back into gear.
I wish you the best !!
JR

Thanks Luis. I have always appreciated your positive words of encouragement.Tough break ARJ. Just don't quit and go for it again. You can use my favorite quote: :waitwall:
I used Chelapati - I think he/she has a course and puts out a book for all the subjects, but there's a section on Surveying. And I also used the Civil Surveying Review Manual by Mahallati. That one was really helpful...I actually saw some of the same problems on the exam. I also used the Cuomo book and 120 Surveying Problems like I said before, but those weren't enough in themselves. Having a good surveying textbook is also key. Other than that I did a million problems and a bunch of practice exams. Thanks JR. I appreciate the kind words.
Thanks Ifski for the advice. I think you are right about finding resources with tougher problems. What references did you use?
