I don't believe I've had garlic bacon. Not saying it would be good or bad, just not something I'll go searching for.

 
worth a try. sprinkle a little garlic powder over the bacon as it cooks.

 
Which type of bacon would you start with? Peppered, thick cut, hickory smoked, applewood smoked, other?

Another good recipie would be to start with plain salt-cured bacon and do a dry-rub consisting of brown sugar and cayanne pepper before frying...

 
me personally, I would go with the thick cut, but I usually prefer it above the others, but a dry-rub sounds good too.
