I did. I chose 55 questions each time to test myself. Then reviewed the answers. Took another 55 questions... The system assigned the questions to imitate the real exam. I was struggling at first by getting only 45-55% correct. However I started to change my strategy to skip questions I thought they would take too long to answer. Then I came back to solve those flagged questions after I have gone all the way to Q55.

After 2-3 practice exams I got to reach 60-70%... Then I finished 400+ questions. I can reset to test again. Actually I did second round the week before the exam. Not complete the whole question bank but I think 2 or 3 times full lengthed exams (55 Q. I got 75-85% which made me feel better and more confident.

The beauty of it is you got very similar pace with the real exam. Just dig in the questions bank and you will know what I meant.

Good luck to you..

Alright so I've had my fair share of issues with deficiencies in the board application process. If you are reading this having just passed the 8 hour, please take the extra time to ensure you have met all the minimum requirements for the application itself - there are significant delays in the overall process if you do not pay attention to this prior to submittal. Do not rush.

I took the survey exam in 10/2023, and had my feelings hurt by my own arrogance. I had 20 minutes at the end of the exam to review and walked out thinking I had cracked the high score. ~20 hrs of studying the CPERSR and Mansour 497. Anyways, I am taking the survey again tomorrow, finding myself in a better ~emotional state~ which apparently is important for these types of things, all things I suppose. Same study methodology as last time, this time with more energy, more effort.

I have also spent 60 hours so far studying the Hiner for SDR. Taking that next Friday and will put in a more time throughout the week to hopefully wrap this process up by the end of May!

Thanks for reading.

Failed Both!

Hey guys. I had a question. I got approved for Q1 and Q2 for the exams and chose to do Q1 seismic and Q2 for surveying. I just now realized that I should’ve done Q1 surveying and Q2 Seismic. Is there a way I can swap the quarters for the exam?
