I'm going into Aprils with the thought that I did in October. 56 needed to pass. I will be shooting for 80 in April. If I only end up with 56, then oh well. But I'm aiming for 80 this time.

This book that you listed, what exactly did it go over in terms of geotech? It may be just the book I need to push me over the edge in terms of passing (48/80) last go round

I have been on the site as a guest for awhile, then decided to join. You guys have been a big help in preparing for the test.

I gained (9) correct answers from the October 05 to the October 06 exam. Wrote a thesis in between. So hopefully, in the next few months, I will get a few more tips and finally conquer this thing.....

Thanks dvinny for fixing mine, i was unsure of the percentages but now i agree with what your results are. You sticking with geotech next time? I think I will just have more resources for the next exam. Good luck with your studying. Any advice you might have or I can give will hopefully help us pass this test.

My advice to myself is I am starting today. I am getting all of my references out today, and am going to begin to organize them, and build my outline of what I'm going to study.

Last time I started 3-4 weeks out. That was where I went wrong. This time, I need to be done 3 weeks out, and just review for the final weeks.

And I took Transpo, the Geotech above belongs to TKULU.

I'm not a Geotech person so this book was really helpful to me. It is 476 pages of problems and solutions. It helped me get thru some problems on the PE. Some probs were very close to what was in the book. It had some basic stuff and afternoon geotech that was way over my head.
