I know nothing about either surveying and seismic engineering, but I passed both exams at my first attempt in December 2024 with books from CPESR and AEI. I believe these books are good enough for you to pass the two exams without any problems. I didn't take Hiners course or any other classes. The total package is just $100, and they are for the latest 2024 codes. If you are near the San Francisco East Bay Area, greater Sacramento area, or Davis, we may meet somewhere so you can pick up by yourself. If you live somewhere else, I can mail them to you (shipping fee may be an additional cost).

1. CPESR Civil PE Surveying Review (7.1 edition) by Kirk Torossian - $20 (Very minor notes, like new condition)
Total AEI Materials - $80 (FYI, AEI is currently selling at $195, but NO cheat sheet, No PDF handout, NO ASCE tables, no workshop, no mini exams)
2. AEI: Fundamentals of Seismic Analysis and Design of Buildings 7th Edition (very minor notes, but still in a very good condition)
3. AEI Practice Exams for CA Seismic Principles (5th Edition, like new, no notes)
4. AEI official cheat sheet, ASCE Tables for the exam - extremely useful, especially the AEI official cheat sheet (PDF copy).
5. AEI workshop problems, Mini Exams, AEI PDF Handouts. - extremally useful (PDF copy).
