The answer of question 6 part 5 is 0.3125 delta?

Sorry guys I tried on the original topic but it gave me error so I am posting it as new.

 
.375 delta...1/2 of .75 = .375
that is what I have been trying to tell you that answer is not 0.375delta but it is 0.3125delta. Check the solution of the problem in the back of the book. and that is what I don't get.

I have the Spring 2010 version of the book

The answer is given as 3/8 delta.

3/8 = .375

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Despite what other posters report, I have questions about several of the supplied answers. Readers would be helped by an errata.

the Fall 2010 shows 0.3125delta. He has solved as = 3delta/8-1delta/16= 5delta/16 Does anyone else can help.
