Thanks for the update. I can't wait to check the mailbox, hopefully for good news. Tick-tock...Just spoke with the board - they verified that I passed all exams and are looking into why my name isn't up.
This is a great news, but how did you come up with this number "200". Did you call the board??For those of you still waiting on letters there is hope. The last license number on the website is 79507 but I recieved my pass letters today with a license number 797XX. Looks like there's 200+ people who passed who are not in the database yet. Good luck!
As far i know, you have to resubmit without paying any fee, but will delay your license certificate.I received both in one envelope, and I am very glad to say I passed both. However, below the pass it says "Take Home Exam: Need to Take"
Does that mean that I failed the take home? And if so do I have to pay $275 to retake it, and then wait for the next cycle to get my PE?
Congrats to all who passed, and to does that didn't keep trying. Hard work always pays off at the end.
Call and talk to the person who processed your application. They normally notify you if you failed the take home with a chance to retake it before the exam to avoid paying an extra fee. It kind of sounds like maybe they are having issues with putting the take homes into the system correctly.I received both in one envelope, and I am very glad to say I passed both. Congrats nog. I was in the same boat and (luckily!) passed Seismic this last time. I self-studied but if you take a review course, def take Hiner.Congats to all who passed the exams. I passed the 8hr & surveying, will be takig seismic next time. I want to take a review course for seismic. Who do you recommend? Mansour or Heiner?
According to the board rules the number should be in the middle of the stamp. Do you guys know if the number should contain any letter in front of it (like C for Civil, or E for engineer) or is it just the number from the license look up page.Any of the above, see p11 of http://www.pels.ca.g.../boardrules.pdfSo when getting the stamp (for new Civil engineers), do we have it say 'Professional Engineer', 'Registered Professional Engineer' or 'Licensed Professional Engineer'?
I forgot what the rules are. I'm thinking we're allowed either of the 3
