we have the "California Knockdown" every square inch of sheetrock has this in the house, walls, ceilings, bathrooms, closets, bedrooms, columns, good god its f'n awful

I think it was invented by the sheetrock people so that if you ever accidentally punch a wall in your house you have to pay some knucklehead to fix it ...
