Ric,
Thank you for posting a reply here!

I really apreciated it!

It shows that you all are working hard to get the results out.

Thanks,

Andre

Agreed!
Hear, hear! I'm sure dealing with our anxiety every cycle is nothing new to you. I feel a lot better now that you've come here and confirmed the results will be released today. I now only need to refresh my inbox once a minute.

I have push notifications set up on my phone. My stomach drops every time my pocket vibrates.

I don't like to talk about politics. However, Have you guys notice the states with the longest wait for the results are left-wing/democrat leaning states? LOLNew York - Democrat

New Jersey - Democrat

Massachusset - Democrat

California - Tree-hugging Democrat.....

LOL............

did more people take the exams in those states?

i'll just leave this here... http://www.thesodajerks.com/jerks/imgs/maps/IQ.gif

I worry about the IQ of the person who drew up the map ... I fear they wrote Hawaii's number in white text somewhere next to the islands

Edit: maybe all the smaller states to ..

you see that table in blue on the right hand side...

Pretty cool map! and I'm independant just in case... LOL I actually took the test on NJ and jokes aside, the state of New Jersey has the ability to red-tapped everything to a screeching holt...I'm not familiar with Cali to make a comment about it, however I think if you have a higher volume of examinees you should have a higher volume on your staff. That would make sense... right?
california also has 2 state specific exams (which i imagine are holding everything up here). i don't know about the other states. also, california hasn't been having the best of years when it comes to hiring additional employees.

I should agree that CA has significantly more no. of exam takers compared to other state.

All the best for every one. I know everyone worked really really hard, but God forbid, if something bad happens to any of us, including me, let's not loose hope to take the exam again. Good Luck!

Doh! ... I blame it on the stress with waiting on the results

Please understand that there are several staff members integral to reviewing applications and managing the examinations process that are licensed and we can fully appreciate the anxiety felt during this time.
As stated previously, the National Professional Engineer (PE) and State Specific Civil Engineer April 2011 results for California applicants will be released today. The more time we spend on the phone responding to questions as to exactly what time that will be, the less time we spend finalizing the notices and making sure that everything is ready to go.

Also and as stated previously, applicants will receive an email from NCEES alerting them to log in and receive their national exam results. Results for the State Specific Civil exams will be by regular mail.

If you have changed your address of record anytime since submitting your application and have not notified the California Board of the change, you may not receive the letter in the mail. I would suggest that anyone in this situation to visit the Board's web site, download the form and submit as soon as possible: ]http://www.pels.ca.gov/pubs/forms/address_change.pdf[/url

Good luck to everyone!

Please let me know that are you going to separate out the pass and fail mail buckets like it was done last time or send it all together today
lucky101 - the plan is always to send them all out together, but with some of disciplines having multiple exams that is not always possible. And we don't wish to hold up the process longer than absolutely necessary. When that happens typically the fail letters take priority since each time the system is alerted that an applicant passed an exam, the system verifies if any other required exams are necessary before producing the licensing (congratulation) letters. Example in the case of Civil, four separate exams are evaulated in the database processing (national, two civils, and laws / regs) before the letter can be generated.

Based on your rate of progress so far will you be able to send pass letters today as well?
