Being a half-full kind of gal, the one thing I'm reminding myself of is the fact that the forcast is free of snow for a while.

I just emailed DPOR licensing specialist, and was informed that they expect to recieve results sometime in January. The email said that they had not recieved any results as of today. I'm assuming the results must go through PCS first, then to DPOR. Hopefully I'm wrong and our scores will be available on the NCEES website.

from NCEES:

NCEES scoring has released the results to all state boards.

However, your state board has the control over when and how the results are released, not NCEES. They may be utilizing the NCEES system but NCEES does not make the decision on when the results are available to examinees.

This explains a lot. We will probably get an email from NCEES a week after we receive result letters in the mail from DPOR.

How is can be a cost benefit to have the process to involve NCEES/PCS/EES/DPOR instead of just NCEES/DPOR is beyond me.

NCEES has updated on October 2010 Results. After reading the updates, it appears VA result will not be released soon and it will have to go through EES/Validation..........................

My issues with PCS go beyond the extra time those dip***ts add to the wait time for results...

The testing site they selected was absolutely horrible (as was the one they selected for the FE) and the whole system was horribly unorganized the day of the exam and resulted in us wasting an additional 3 hours on top of the 8 that it took for our exam...

I agree if there is an entity that deserves some scorn it's that group of imbeciles.

Same like last year ...we have to wait wait and wait than wait .....That is not fair .... if we paying the same fee for the exam as every body else why should not we get the result in the same time as everybody else ... I'm so pissed ... :waitwall:

I should have applied in MD as their results were out..

I hate the middle man in this game.. just don't see the point..

Inefficient.. Uneconomical.. Ridiculous.. Frustrating..

Dragging everyone behind..

Drving me crazy...

Just spoke to PCS...the representative stated that they have recieved the results and it will be another 2-3 weeks before the results are posted...

Has anyone tried contacting PCS to see when they plan to release results to us? They are based on Nashville.

I would be pissed so bad if its 2-3 days.. and they are saying 2-3 weeks? WTF!

Wow, just..........wow. Why? Ridiculous. :brickwall:
yeaaaa...my reaction was similiar.

Dude - "well there are a lot of exams and we don't only do VA"

Me - "sounds like you are a part of a grossly inefficient organization"

Dude - "sorry"

Me - "good luck with that"

I can't believe this. It is unecessary to involve a middle man, once NCESS has gone through thier entire scoring process. Why does it take 2-3 weeks to validate the results. Just doesn't seem right.

The way i see it, is hat there are 3 cases among us:

Those know/feel they did well and all they need is a confirmation.

those who are in between , might pass/might fail, we must be the most anxious and postponing studying until we have a confirmation

those who feel that they have failed. just start studying

either way, i know everyone is anxious but all we can do is be patient.

It is so unbelievable! Oh well, they probably process 20 states and it takes them have a day for each state. So 2 to three weeks... Ridiculous!!

I still think that VA should get result soon. It may be a wishfull thinking but I looked up under Results heading on the NCEES website for VA and ME. Both are serviced by PCS. The Results note for ME says that PCS will notify candidates while the Results note for VA says NCEES will notify examinees. I hope this is true and we get the results soon!

I just spoke to PCS, and was informed that they have recieved the results, but the results have not been validated by DPOR yet. Said they expect the have the results validated by the end of next week. At which time, the results will be available on the NCEES website. So I dont think it will be 2-3 weeks as stated in the earlier post. Based on my phone conversation I feel results will be avialbe at the earliest next Friday, and the latest the following Monday.

Can anyone confirm how we in VA will receive results?
NCEES website or DPOR letter
DPOR Website /Plug in Name in License Look Up OR Letter. I don't think any change is going to happen. Wait for Next two weeks. Thats how VA works.

According to the phone conversation I had today with PCS, they informed me that the results would be available via NCEES website, as soon as, DPOR validates the results. They said this would most likely happen by the end of next week. I hope the person I spoke with knows what they are talking about.

I received an email from DPOR yesterday and it said this:

".... They will not be available on the NCEES website as we disseminate those by mail. When they are received, they will processed and mailed."

So I dont know who to believe.
