    The last time

I remember the last time i saw my Granny. She had been battling breast cancer for a couple years at 70 years old. I was in my junior year at college and the last time I saw her was two weeks prior. I was trimming some large hedges she had nursed along in her yard and I cut myself with the...

    ‘Kelo vs New London’ Revisited

I am sure there are stories just like that in just about every major US city over the last 10 years. In 2006 and 2007, eminent domain was used to blight an entire section of Crestwood, MO. They insisted that if they demolished over 20 houses, that they could build a strip mall and gas station...

Sonoco unveils $75 million biomass boiler

The nat gas is needed for startup and peak loading. We are working on a biomass (corn products) boiler now and they work great for base loading, but the low load and high load ranges are where it gets tricky as issues with flame out on biomass are much much higher. I would think this would...

    Laptop Suggestions?

thanks KF, I was unsure of that. I was looking at an ASUS Transformer T100, Best Buy had one for about $300. It has a quad core processor, but it only has 2GB of RAM and I think MatLab needs at least 1GB.

    Laptop Suggestions?

I am looking for a laptop to use for some classes I am taking. The most intensive program that we will be using is MatLab. Its been a while since I have used that, would a netbook be able to handle it? I travel a lot for work and I am wanting to get a 2-in-1 laptop that has a detachable...

    Runners?

thanks for the input. this is the only time its ever happened, not sure if I was just not hydrated well or what. Have been seeing more and more people wearing them lately and I wasn't sure if I was missing something that the distance runners are doing to protect themselves from injury.

Thanks all, if any of your are friends with my on Facebook, you saw that my boys got me called out at Texas Roadhouse on Saturday night. Had to ride the saddle and all. The boys loved it, so did the couple behind me as they were taking pictures and posting to FB. No clue who they were. They...

    Runners?

During last nights run, my legs started swelling up a lot. Especially my calves. The guys here in my office said I need to start looking at compression socks for running as it sounds like I have circulation issues. Anyone use them and have suggestions? I would obviously like ones with an...

I use a Mach 3 and its the best damn razor I have ever used. I have a gilette electric as well that I take on trips for when I need a quick shave, it does the trick but not nearly as smooth as my Mach 3. As for shaving cream, i just use whatever shave gel there is out there. I really haven't...

Smart people I need your help!

Can you get work to get you a hotspot router? Those work just as well and are ideal for field offices. The rates are a little higher, but you end up saving at the end because you are not paying for installation of routers, cables, etc. Its mobile to boot, so take it to the field office and...
