That hospital coincidence is pretty funny Fox. I definitely understand the courses taking priority over the classes. I wasn't sure how much this trip meant to you.

I would be surprised if the Profs weren't flexible with deadlines. If they aren't you should ask about the possibility of make up work or extra credit so you can make up the lost points.

Having worked through child delivery I'm sure you'll be fine working late nights on vacation, even if it is far away from modern conveniences. Always sucks to take work with you but I'm sure your wife/friends will understand.

You may also be able to hand in the assignments ahead of time if you can get them done so that's one other option available.
