Has anyone took this review course before? If so, what do you think? Worth it? Do you any learn anything?

I signed up for it. I thought it was a waste of money. They followed the EPRM chapter-by-chapter. If you have a reasonable amount of self-discipline, I think you can learn more by buying the NCEES, spin up and complex imaginary tests, and reviewing references such as the Grainger book, the Wildi Book (Which is great!), and the EPRM. Look up the information from one of the members here on what chapters from the Wildi book to review. I think the information in the Wilde book gave me the edge to pass the test.

Can't speak to the UMBC review class but I did take this one and it was excellent:

Also a cheaper option than the UMBC class.

I got a discount on the UMBC one, but it seems the GT class is a better bang-for-your-buck (based of comments on this forum).

thanks for the all information. I am not paying for it so :) but sounds like a waste of time for the review class since they are following step by steps

Could you give me some insight about that book? I am thinking about getting that book from Powerpe.net, practice exams, my old college books, nec code book

Do a search for the Wildi Book on this forum. I think someone (WildSoldierPE?) has a great summary of which chapters are the most useful. He was dead on. The book covers the topics in a very methodical way. The title is "Electric Machines, Drives and Power Systems"

Thanks...I saw his post and took the hunch and bought the book. I found an international softcopy edition for like $36 shipped
