Excitement at the frazil house today!

One of our neighbors having a yard sale put some Mylar balloons outside to advertise.

One of the balloons got away and flew up into the utility wires

 

[frazil]

Somehow it caused a fire on the utility pole. All the wires were burning

 

[frazil]

We heard about it when some crazy lady ran up to our door and shouted, "can you hear me?! This is an emergency!! Get everyone out of your house. The utility pole is on fire!"

(There was no way we were actually in any real danger)

 

[frazil]

The fire dept showed up and just let the fire burn out.

But our cable is down for 2 DAYS!!!

The neighbor with the balloons told the utility guys that it was caused by a branch.
