I think pandora's box was just opened... I was just asked to "assist" the facilities department in developing their sustainability plan... part of me is happy... the other part of me wants to smash my head into a brick wall

From what I was told I will be doing all the lifting on the project...

that doesn't bother me so much, it falls under the umbrella of our department and they are wanting to keep me on as a project manager so they are assigning me projects. I can easily switch hats between dealing with network drops and fire alarm systems to obtaining city permits to justifying giving the ax to limitless laundry and printing privileges. I actually will probably enjoy working with the current sustainability team because they are pretty gung-ho about it but just don't have the guidance they need. Bly is correct in saying that it should actually be a blast.
