Burned some serious bar oil today. Helped neighbors with trees across driveway. Still no power in my neighborhood got a generator hooked up to the boiler, was getting a little cool inside.
And tofu sucks.

Good luck wooly. No power sucks- especially with kids. We lost power for 8 days after Sandy and the year before when we had a freak blizzard in October we lost power for 7 days. No generator either. Not fun with little ones. My son was just 2 weeks old at the time of the blizzard.

Well, yeah, its a relief, but at the same time, why the hell is my boss asking for them... maybe just an informal QC? I don't know. I've been getting this strange vibe from him. Maybe I'm just reading too much into it, but I've been at this job for 4 months so I know I'm still in the probationary phase, but I feel like I have certainly established my competency by this point and for him to ask for this right now just makes me paranoid. I don't know, I'm probably reading too much into it. I also stressed my wife out about it last night, and I feel horrible about that, because she's about to give birth next month and doesn't need me to worry her about my job. Oh well, its friday, at least I get to lay around all weekend... said no dad / husband ever.

I had a dream last night I was called back up to the reserves, sent to Afghanistan, but left my TA-50 ,at home so I was running around with no helmet trying to borrow one from someone..
Sometimes it's goo to wake up at 530....

Time to fly home! Yayyyyy! My last customer visit went very well, we fixed 2 problems, told the mechanical contractor how to fix 2 more, and gave him a tech's phone number for future issues.
