Thanks for the congrats, Rudy. I will make it over to the other forum and make a post evenutally. I think the key, of course, is to work as many problems as possible and I actually thought that the test was easier than the problems that I had been working. I finished about an hour early both morning and afternoon. Also, I had only been out of school about 5 years and do work as a process engineer which involves work that is fairly close to the subject matter that the test has.

In texas, they tell you the scores too. In Oklahoma, the board keeps your scores and locks them away. We will never see them, but if we apply for comity in another state, the OK board will pass our score to the other board.

Congratulation to all the Texan that passed and good luck to anyone that till waiting!!!

So, if I apply for comity in Texas I might be able to know my score? anyone?

Found a website, http://www.engineerseals.com that already has the acceptable TX seal designs. They are out of Duncanville. Price wise I have no idea, but this is who I ordered from.

congrats to all! i moved from Texas in May and took PE for West Virginia, awaiting the results and nervous as hell. took someone's advice to drink heavily until notification... maybe after a 6 pack it will work!

I can't find the thread, but somebody said once that some state's laws require a score, so NCEES has to provide it. the ones that don't just have P/F.

Not necessarily MIG - Florida's rules say that you must have a 70 or better to pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (Part I) or the Principles of Practice (Part II). We only receive pass/fail notice.

I have been curious to the mechanism, but for myself the only concern was that I passed and made an adequate demonstration that I was minimally qualified to be licensed as a professional engineer.

Thanks... Still no word. I called the board and they were mailed out on Wednesday the 19th... So earliest I will get a letter would be Wednesday the 26th now...
