Also, it doesn't matter what the engineers (environmental or otherwise) want to do... the power is all in the hands the environmental regulators...

Some things I've heard in the labs over the years:

"If it's not broke, it doesn't have enough features yet." (referring to elec eng)

"If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem."
