I took the FE when you could pick your afternoon section. It was general AM and then the PM was either general or discipline (civil, electrical, mechanical). [April 2010]

They changed that one or two cycles after I took it though. 

Dang, we took the FE in the same administration! That's awesome. Hopefully, we pass the PE in the same administration, too.

I ended up hiding my EIT at work. Since the higher ups would see it and then see 2010 and ask me about the PE...
