Sounds about right for AgiocochookThe top of Mt Washington yesterday had a -62F windchill yesterday. -17F actual plus 81 mph "breeze"
I did not know that it had an indigenous name. I'll have to remember that for the future.Sounds about right for Agiocochook
I can't find the original Indigenous names for all of the mountains I visit but I try.I did not know that it had an indigenous name. I'll have to remember that for the future.
I concur.“No rules Outback Steakhouse just life’s good right rednu nwod?”
Definitely. But also the base elevation on the east is less than the west, so the relative difference from peak->base makes them seem a little closer imo.I also didn't realize that is only ~6300ft. I get that that's tall for the east coast but it's a speed bump by Colorado standards.
Right but the way different weather fronts hit it is what makes Agiocochook so dangerous.I also didn't realize that is only ~6300ft. I get that that's tall for the east coast but it's a speed bump by Colorado standards.

All fair points.Right but the way different weather fronts hit it is what makes Agiocochook so dangerous.
There was a satellite picture from NWS last year that showed Agiocochook cutting a storm. It was so neat but of course I can't find it
