I feel real bad for the reddit users that are all like "How do I ask for a raise when I pass?" and "What are you going to do first when you pass?" and "What would you have done differently?"
way too early for those threads. I normally wouldn't expect them until around 5 weeks in.

There's some cocky mofos over there to be talking that in week two.

I feel like there isn't enough hazing going on with these users to bring them down to earth and preparing for the reality of not passing.
Well if they work for my company, they aren't getting that raise so...

To be fair, there was some of that here, too.

 
I pretty much got told my advancement at this point is dependent on my passing the exam. Small raises til I get licensed. *smdh*
Eh, I was promised a promotion/raise at my old job.  Passed in December 2018, wasn't promoted during March 2019, and then was told they only promote people once a year (not mid-year as they told me).  Thus why I left and got a different job with a lower salary, but a much better work/life balance.  I'm not going to bust my ass for a PE and then get pretty much nothing from it.

same boat. unless someone pulls for me, i'm not getting a title bump until I get my PE
