I saw it on the news last night. CBS did a really good story on it.

It looks like the crappy weather here today will ruin it.

I was outside watching it until the rain storm showed up; but it's about to blow over, so I'll go back outside for a while and see how far it's changed in the past hour and a half.

A co-worker snapped a great photo, but it's 5MB... Will get it uploaded somewhere tomorrow to share if I can.

The transit of venus sounds like something that belongs in Urban Dictionary.

What are some potential definitions?

Boom.....derailed.
When a lady smears her lady parts across your face? Male counterpart: the transit of *****, which isn't nearly as eventful.

Back on track: Wired.com is streaming live footage of it today.

*Edit* Chuck, I'm ashamed of you for not coming up with your own suggestions.

You're progressing quite nicely.

This is the photo that my co-worker took yesterday! Made the local newspaper

There seems to be a bit of dust on the lense just at the top-left area of the sun...

Grabbed my welding mask to view the transit and then the rainclouds rolled in!

...have to catch it next lifetime
