Problem below, and answer at WRECrossfit:

A well in a confined aquifer is pumped at the rate of 0.15 cfs. A vertical impermeable boundary is formed by an intrusion through the aquifer 400ft from the well.  What is the drawdown (ft) in the piezometric head at the boundary after 48 hours of pumping?  T = 1970cf/d, S = 0.0003

a) 2.74

b) 5.48

c) 10.60

d) 12.20

Decent problem. I was able to infer as much based on the data givens, though my only suggestion would be to change the question to read "48 hours after the start of pumping operations" or something along this line.
