You're..... probably right. But I like my way better.

During this search I found a whole 'nother counting forum (on a "Sex and the City" fan forum). They got up to 3000 something, then somehow fell back to 2000.
As of 12-25-2019 they are... somehow down to 950 again. (yes, I checked... they're counting up...) Let's all keep better count than the S&tC forum.
