Construction in AM appears to be fairly new. Wondering the diificulty level of the questions and extent to cover with respect to NCESS study specification. May be the takers of 2008 April and after can shed some light to provide some guidance. (Not taking Construction Depth!!! :bananapowerslide: )

As one who took the April 2008 Construction depth (first time offered), you will be surprised how much is covered by the CERM. I only had the 10th edition (before the "construction" stuff was moved for the 11th), and had plenty of resources to handle the morning. I would strongly advise reading through the CERM (like a novel), so that you know where to find everything. You will find that alot of the "construction" stuff isn't in the construciton section. This is because these parts discuss the construction of specific things (structures, roadway/transpo, water resources, & geotech) and the context would be lost if it was moved. Think of it this way: a temporary structure is still a structure so it would be best in the Structures section, right? You will also see that these "construction" items will rarely have their own chapter, but will rather be a sub-section within the chapter.

A strong familiarity with the CERM should be more than enough to tackle the construction part of the morning exam.
