So im starting to study for the Nov 2024 exam and found out this is an 8 hour exam but i cant find anything on how many questions there are. Can anyone tell me how many questions are on this exam and if they are broken up into two 4 hour parts? Thanks in advance
https://www.calgeo.org/certification-materials CalGEo_Org has study materials for the exam. The test plan is here: https://bpelsg.ca.gov/applicants/geotestplan.pdf.

Also, NAVDOCs is very helpful as a lot of the exam problems are based on the manuals.

Apparently it happened to a lot of people. I had my exam last week and got the same message which ruined my entire day until I saw the update below on their website.

  • ANNOUNCED NOVEMBER 13, 2024 - On November 12, 2024 the Board's assessment provider, Prometric, identified a technical issue that sent unintended email communications which may have created confusion. The recently identified system error inadvertently sent out incorrect examination result notifications, including a "NO SHOW" examination status. We are actively working with Prometric to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. Please be assured that Prometric will correct your exam status. We understand that this may have caused some confusion, and we apologize for any inconvenience it may have created. At this time, please do not contact BPELSG while Prometric works to rectify this situation. If, after November 29, 2024 you find that your results are not correctly reflected in BPELSG Connect platform, please contact the BPELSG Examination Development Unit at (916) 999-3644 or through email at [email protected]
We hope to have this resolved in the next few days. Should you have any questions, please contact Prometric's Candidate Care Department at 1-800-853-6769; operation hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm EST.

I just received an email stating that I failed, but when I check the boards site, it still says "no show," and my diagnostics are nowhere to be found. This inconsistency leaves me with serious doubts about whether this exam was conducted fairly, especially since we don't get actual scores or % of correct answers.
