actually this is really the only way I cook it... it seriously comes out perfect

I agree with Cpt... bacon should keep it's own smokiness... I have gotten the maple cured kind which has a nice hint of sweetness, but unless I'm using bacon in something, it has to be the thick cut and plain

Burping bacon isn't the worst thing in the world. I don't like crispy, though.

The second round with bacon may not be as good as the first with it, but it's better than the first time round with MANY other foods.

Nothing wrong with burping bacon all day long. This allows you to REALLY enjoy your bacon.
