there are some bad chiropractors out there and there are some bad MDs out there with me, my MD wanted to write me a prescription for pain in my back.  I went to a chiro and they did more than just crack my back, they worked with my movement patterns and worked stretches etc that worked better than meds, but i have to do my core/back exercises and stretches everyday for it to not act up.  i also ended up going to a OMT and he did some kind of voodoo with trigger points or something and that actually worked the best.
