April 13 FE newbie question !?

Hello,

just a few more days, yay... please kindly tell me if

1. I can work on morning session during PM session , coz I tend to have spare time on PM ?

2. If I can work on PM questions in case I have spare time on AM ?

3. I can change my discipline from EE to General if I figure EE is too hard ? On my admission ticket it says EE specificly...

4. Questions booklet , is there enoughs space for each problem ?

5. Do the questions follow order by discipline ?

In the morning you are going to recieve the morning booklet only. In the afternoon you are going to recieve the afternoon booklet only. You are not going to have access to both at the same time. Regarding the discipline i think it doesnt matter just make sure that you answer in the answer sheet the code of the test you are going to take if EE or other disciplines. The afternoon booklet is thicker because it have all the discipline tests in one booklet...you need to decide what test you are going to take. Regarding question 5 i dont understand what you mean.

Ah, thanks, in the question 5 I means if they group all chemistry questions in one slew , all statics questions in one slew, etc... I bet they do , just making sure..

Wait, how long is the break between AM and PM , does any know ?

Regarding question 5 yes they usually do... now when working the problems they dont tell you that this chunk of problems are from calculus or chem..etc you shall know how to classify them... regarding lunch is usually 1 hour...all depends on the hour they start the examination....they will make the announcement at what time you shall return for the afternoon section.

you may not be able to change from ee to general for the afternoon. I thought they started having you declare the choice when you registered so they didn't have to print them all and go unused in the afternoon.

You cant change disciplines, th eone you registered in is the one you will get in the afternoon. so check your account in the NCEES examinee acount to make sure you are prepared for the right one. all the best guys.

ouch..if thats the case BEightCon you shall be prepared for electrical....i took mine in 2006 and it was the way i describe it. Hope BEightCon is prepared for electrical...i know it comes a lot of stuff about controls, communication and electronics(transistors, op-amp, diodes, zener diode etc). Im glad i already finished with all the testing. I graduated with minor in electronics but my experience is with power.
