When I started, I had a broken chair that was way too low and someone had spilled coffee on it. I asked for a new one and a maintenance guy gave me some trouble for being so needy. I got a new chair, though. Really, is it too much to ask for a chair that isn't short and doesn't look like someone had an accident in it?

the trouble is with the forms, capital expense reports, justification for how it will make you more productive, the politics of why you should get a chair and others should not...

Haha we don't have any paperwork to get a chair. All you have to do is say that your chair is not ergonomical and you get a new one.
