I can't believe this is the first topic in the hot April 2018 thread.  I think using the term "Passing" score gives a more positive feeling.  Who started the term "cut" score anyway.

We are not playing golf here, but I'd like a few mulligans.

Forum has only existed for like 30 min.

And I was too busy looking for a map and dartboard to pick the first state to fall victim to the "Just heard from [state]" thread.

That's a hint for what you can get in the spam thread, people! The best place to let out steam and pass the time while waiting for your results to be released.

Due to the record setting simplicity of this test, anything less then 100% will result in a failing score.

Yeah this was definitely a spam thread, as if you couldn't tell through the sarcastic title. Sorry, I had to do it.

As said before, it is most probably near 70% of an agreed maximum score. That maximum score is probably something like 75-80 depending on the performance of the group.

I know nothing for sure, but Occam's Razor feels right.

I heard this year that they changed the whole scoring system because of some complaints from some of the people that failed it last year............... heard from my brothers wifes's sister who knows the person who scans the scantrons but no one knows he does because the NCEES makes him list a different company he works for on linkedin because he could be approached by people wanting to see the results so his job is super secret?? Fo-Cereal.  Image result for super secret

haha, I know how you feel. I was nervous and anxious as the big day approaching last year November and December. But you may already know, the damn NCEES suprised us by releasing result 3-4 days earlier than normally. so I got the green box unexpectedly, I thought I was delusional and hitting F5 all day to make sure the green box of pass was still there. Good luck to you! and, go run and play piano!

Everyone knows that the EE test is super simplistic and even a Civil Engineer can pass it without studying (just ask some of the folks that were previously banned). @knight1fox3 can assist with providing their contact information.

Other disciplines will have a more realistic cut score as their exams have more realistic questions.

Let the results tell the final story.

Now, where did I leave my bike.  Need to head off to the Big Top again...

Hmmm...I do know a few engineers that took the civil exam after failing the EE a couple times.
