You will probably be granfathered in Florida, but I would go ahead and take it. You never know where you will be in 20 years. I think FSEA is trying to push for the SE in Florida. I don't know how many years they are away... Maybe 2-8 years...

Yeah he has 12+ years of experience. He is actually only a class or so away from getting his masters in engineering, but he likes to be difficult.
A guy in my office took the test in Maryland because he doesn't have an engineering degree. He passed the lateral day but, not the vertical day. He is retaking the vertical day in October. Does anyone know of anyone passing the exam without and engineering degree? Will he be the first?
For the October 2011 SE Exam the Scoring workshop was around December 1, 2, and 3rd and the results came out December 19th. So for the April 1012 SE Exam, my guess is the result will come out between Monday June 19th and Monday June 16th.
