    Well stated Daw.....the exam isnt easy for most and there is no rubber stamp for pasing...but it was my most useful source along with NEC, NESC and the pracitce exams by NCEES, SPINUP & CI...I used it different than Daw...I just tabbed the manual itself and was very familar with the manual

    I havent heard as many good things about the IRVINE course...I would get the GATECH Binder...its what helped me the most

    I took ppi...and GaTech...GayTech binder helped me more than anything...but I had to put extensive time in learning it and thats what you have to do for this exam...after the binder...I studied CI, Spinup and NCEES exam and could do them all in a couple hours...thats what helped me pass it no...

    line voltage = phase voltage..depends on if its WYE or DELTA actually....you assume line voltage not line to neutral voltage

    Most places will tell you assume phase voltage unless told otherwise...or thats what I remember anyway
