TECH course was best I seen out there and helped me immensely....make sure to do the practice exams as well and you should be fine

Gtech course was right on for me

They were 2 questions straight from NESC when I took it in April this year....it may cost to get it but if you dont you may regret it

I took both...PPI was helpful but Tech Binder was all I really needed..with sample exams of course

Well stated Daw.....the exam isnt easy for most and there is no rubber stamp for pasing...but it was my most useful source along with NEC, NESC and the pracitce exams by NCEES, SPINUP & CI...I used it different than Daw...I just tabbed the manual itself and was very familar with the manual

PPI was ok, GaTech Manual was much better...

I havent heard as many good things about the IRVINE course...I would get the GATECH Binder...its what helped me the most

I took ppi...and GaTech...GayTech binder helped me more than anything...but I had to put extensive time in learning it and thats what you have to do for this exam...after the binder...I studied CI, Spinup and NCEES exam and could do them all in a couple hours...thats what helped me pass it no...

I would erase this if I were you...NCEES will see it and be angry :) You guys are correct, lots of concept questions in April exam...some of them threw me a loop at first..then I was like ohhhhh...so if you have any knowledge of the question...hopefully you can break it down...i found that...

yeah...whatever method you use...make sure you understand it b/c fault analysis is an important topic for the exam

This is an important concept and there are a couple similar problems in the NCEES practice exam

line voltage = phase voltage..depends on if its WYE or DELTA actually....you assume line voltage not line to neutral voltage

Most places will tell you assume phase voltage unless told otherwise...or thats what I remember anyway
