Then how do you address a group of people???

Aunt = awnt (British parents)
Caramel = Care-uh-mel
Creek = Creek (like meek)
Pajamas = Pa-jam-muhs
Route = "root"
Caught = cawt
Tiny lobster = crawdad
Gym shoes = shoes
Groceries go in a = cart or bag
Carbonated drink = Soda
Bug that rolls into a ball = roly-poly

I'm all messed up though.

I'm literally sitting at my desk pronouncing 'mark' over and over under my breath.  I know what you're asking but I don't pronounce it with the hard 'A' or like mahk?  Like, I feel I say the 'a' normal, but further back in my throat?  It's weird, I can't like explain it?
Is it more of a mAR-k, or more of a mAH-k? Mark = Hark or Mark = Mack?

"you all" is the weirdest sounding phrase I've ever heard. ... Well that's an exaggeration, but it does sound super weird.
that's why most people rarely say "you all"

Pittsburgh says yinz

Phila city (east of US 1) says yous (like use)

Phila city (west of US 1) and most of the non-south says "you guys"

Waiter: Try "whosyer" daddy.
@JayKay PE: Who is your daddy?
But, the thing in, LI accent is all about contractions.  So I see "who is your" and my mouth automatically switches it to 'whosya'.  If I think about it and make sure it's three words, it won't slur and sounds like Hoosier.
