If they extend the road at the trailhead to make it not a 14 mile round-trip hike then it will be totally worth it, plus the elk herd there is looking pretty skinny these days maybe a few more tractor-trailers driving through the middle of the park will run them out of there safe haven

Wife and I turned around last year when the weather started to look rough and we were both exhausted and out of shape!  trying to hit this 2nd week in August!
