Fairbanks. Bly just moved down towards anchorage. Anchorage scares me. Too many people.

Anchorage scares me too. Thats why I live in the valley (Palmer).

Closest fire is about 30 miles away. The largest is on the Kenai Peninsula; about 150 miles as the crow flies. Was a fire about 15 miles away 2 weeks back; is not a little closer. The woods are bone dry; quick thaw and no rain.

Was a real smoky drive down yesterday; is blanketing about 1/3 of the state.

Wooly is close to the Yukon River fire though.
