I started by just putting a post it with a label on my book. This was meant to be temporary and really, hasn't helped much during my studying.

Did you color code? Just tab sheets with pen labels or I am a Gigantic DoucheBag

People use different methods. You should try to find what works for you.

I used colors. Blue for water, green for environmental, .... That might not work for others, but it did for me. I used the Post-It tabs and wrote on them to help find what I was looking for. Hope you find something that works. Good luck.

I ended up color coding some and others I didn't. It might not help much in a studying situation, where you have a lot of time, but tabs help in the time constraints of the PE.

Good luck!

Try to get the tabbing done so you can do a lot of practice problems with the tabs.

I think I read somewhere about what's acceptable for tabs or not. Do post-its fly or do you actually need tabs? I know they get picky about loose paper.

I personally did not use tabs, but most of what I used for references came from condensed hand written notes I did for each topic and divided up as such into two 3-ring binders.
