There was a video circulating around the aviation world of an aerobatic plane losing a wing and still managing to land safely. Same deal. It was an add. The plane in question was actually a 1/3 scale model.

 
Mythbusters needs to verify that this can or cannot be done.

 
they could easily do that with the dummy that they always use.

Of course they can, but I want to see them have Tori try it and see if he lives!

Really not much margin for error if you factor in the potential for a change in wind speed, or friction depending on how much of him comes in contact with the slip and slide, not to mention ensuring that he comes off the dead center of the slide.

I'm more than willing to bet they'd miss a few times.
