This being my first post, I would like to deliver some interesting news to the site. I just heard from NCEES that the FE Results were released today. Hopefully, the PE results will be out shortly.
Eight weeks from the 28th would actually be the 23rd of December... right? I don't think those of us who still recieve the results via state mail will be getting them anytime before January 6th which means I have another whole month to try and stop obsessing over the results!!! I don't think I can handle another FAIL!! Any suggestions on what I could be if structural engineering doesn't work out?
I took my PE exam in CA on Oct 29, 2010 and received my PASS letter on Jan 7, 2011 from My NCEES account. It tooks exactly 10 weeks. However, some of the states get their result mid Dec, 2010 and tooks about 8 weeks. If we count 8 weeks from Oct 28, 2011 and it end on Dec 16, 2011. The result might coming during the week after that or on the same day as Dec 16, 2011.
Nevermind, the state has started using NCEES, got the info as an "automated reply" from the state:For Iowa folks, i had always thought that the board releases the PE results somewhere in the middle of Jan (that was the case for the FE that i took a few yrs ago and also for coworkers who took it last year) , but the NCEES site seems to differ from that; http://www.ncees.org...s/States/IA.php reads as follows.
Results
NCEES releases results to the board 8–10 weeks after the exam.
- PE, SE, FS, and PS candidates: You will receive an e-mail from NCEES notifying you that your result is available on your My NCEES account.
- FE candidates: NCEES will notify FE candidates of exam results via U.S. postal mail.
Does anyone know if the board has changed policies and is now using NCEES instead of sending results themselves?
No, I am pretty certain NCEES will release the results to the states this mid-December. Most states then release them to the examinees pretty quickly. CA, however, won't release results until Jan.PE, SE Results will be on January no need to stress yourselves, check NCEES websites adn.

From what I remember, CA authorizes NCEES to release the 8-hour results to the examinees typically on a Friday. They also drop the state specific results in the mail on/near that Friday. Mailed state results start showing up the following Monday, give or take a day.I took my PE exam in CA on Oct 29, 2010 and received my PASS letter on Jan 7, 2011 from My NCEES account. Did you receive your CA state specific Seismic and surveying results at the same time as the NCEES 8 hour PE test results?
