I passed the industrial PE exam in December. My state requires 5 reference with 3 in discipline licensed engineers. My issue is there’s only 8 in state licensed in industrial none of which I know. I’m not even sure how to get people who have never met me to vouch for my experience. I inquired to the board and they encouraged me to reach out to out of state industrial licensed PE’s. They said people were having the issue when software engineering had a PE and to resolve it they just asked out of staters to fill the form out for them.
What would anyone suggest to remedy this?
