6 days after the test, bois. "Result Pending More information" is still on the NCEES site, and I bet they're in the process of typing it in as we speak!! WOOHOOOOOO

I use it for small/medium projects, mostly mechanical/plumbing. For larger projects or anything with a lot of civil work I'll hire an estimator.
Hmmmmmm.  Yeah, I think I'm required to start using it for our projects and I think they're all going to be big.  I'm going to start playing around with it online to see if I can get a better handle on it before something comes through.  Is it fairly intuitive?  Or does it require a lot of back end knowledge?

Way too early for Phase 5: Anger
I think I'm sitting at about Phase 1.5: Generalized Anxiety. I haven't really started cognitively second guessing, but my emotional mind is starting to get a little on edge.

The real motivation for that post is that I don't think NCEES really gives the furry crack of a rat's behind what we think about the test... particularly as they transition to CBT.

It's somewhat intuitive, but I think their numbers are low. I've noticed that (at least here in Northern California) the construction economy is fairly good so the bids have still been coming in higher, or WAY higher, than I accounted for and I think its because the contractors are already fully booked so they're not as hungry.

I'm waffling between 2 and 3 as I flip through my references and find additional info that (may) have been useful. Oh well.

Ooo, I can't use the online version, drives me nuts. We have the hardcopies, I like to flip real pages and all my takeoffs are done in an excel spreadsheet since I have to account for other stuff (my time, review by other disciplines, building permits, etc.).

It's really helped that I walked out of the exam feeling tested, but still confident. Like, it didn't seem way too easy, but I was also able to come up with at least mostly-confident answers for a large majority of the problems.

I also did my best to forget as much as I could about the problems after each session was over. It may not work for everyone, but it's really helped stave off my own descent into Phase 2.

I refuse to unpack my box until I get results.

Superstitious? Absolutely!
I've also left my materials at home. After how much time I spent looking at those before the exam, I'm not sure I can stomach opening them up again before December.

Gonna follow @Will.I.Am's example. Doc already says my blood pressure is too high.
