@RBHeadge PE it isn't completely canceled. They'll hold it Saturday instead (which is also the only nice weather day in the next like 5 days). My coworker wants towns to decree that the last Saturday in October is Halloween for trick-or-treating

It makes sense to me to have modern Halloween on the last Friday or Saturday around the last week of October.

It would just make things easier for everyone involved. Certainly no teacher likes having class the day after Halloween.
