But native people don’t even agree on these.

I will add one caveat.

• If "New" comes in front like the city, it's "New Awe-lins", as in the "City of New Orleans" or "New Orleans, LA" (pronounced New Awe-lins)
  
• If you're saying it without the "New" in front like the street or parish, it's "Or-leens", as in Orleans Parish or Orleans Avenue. (pronounced Or-leens)
  

This is a subtlety that I feel like only locals grasp.
